The Settlement at Willow Grove . . . live, work, and play in a town within a city.
There was time when a neighborhood was more than rows of houses segregated from the rest of society. Neighborhoods were communities. A place people gathered on front porches or in the town squares. A simpler time, when you could walk to the corner grocer's and a playground was just a short bike ride away. This kind of neighborhood has virtually disappeared from the American landscape. The Settlement at Willow Grove is a traditional neighborhood development with a vision to recall this landscape and reintroduce a sense of community to those who chose to live and work here. A development that seeks to reconnect residential living with the practical needs that enhance and add value to our lives, with retail shops, restaurants and recreation close at hand. Willow Grove Site Map
Willow Grove finds its roots in the 111 acres of what was once the Kleinpeter cattle farm. Our site plan preserves and pays homage to the family, and the design protects the properties visual landscape. We have set aside generous portions of the site for well-defined public spaces, parks and green spaces, and included community sidewalks that encourage residents to explore the neighborhood. Streets are narrower, reducing traffic flow. Strict building codes were adopted to not only protect property value, but to ensure the architectural integrity of both residential and commercial buildings.
With input from city planners, architects, and contractors, we will accomplish our design goals taking the best from our past and integrating it into the present with a redefinition of community that best serves homeowners. A community that functions the way a community should, providing basic services and meeting the essential needs for daily living.
